Skate Park

The Ione skatepark is located at 600 S Church St. on the north side of Howard Park, use the north entrance and follow the road east, the skate park is approximately 800 ft from the entrance. Parking is easily accessible on the south side of the skate park.

The skate park has a pool that goes from about 4 feet in the shallow to about 8.5 feet in the deep end with a perfect pool coping.  The park also has a bowl, pyramid, quarter pipe, flat box, rail and a hubba.  A deck surrounds the pool and bowl which is perfect for viewing. 

Helmets are required and pads are recommended.  Picnic areas and green space with a play structure are close to the skate park as well as restroom facilities.  Dry camping is available with a permit obtained from City Hall.  A fire permit is required for campfires.
